Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Am I a Good Candidate for Body Sculpting/Contouring?
The best candidate for these treatments is someone who is taking an active approach to making lifestyle changes for long-term solutions. They may be exercising and eating a proper diet but are still having problem areas. Another example is someone who just had a child, and got back in shape through diet and exercise but can’t tighten the skin in certain areas. Body contouring is not suitable in areas that have: Implants, Botox, or fillers, an individual who has not healed fully from cosmetic surgery
Q: Can I combine my body sculpting treatments?
Many patients who receive body sculpting may also be interested in stretch mark removal, cellulite reduction or one of the many treatments you offer. You can absolutely combine or modify treatments for multiple results.
Q: How quickly will I notice a change?
Gradual improvement of the treated area may be seen following the first treatment. The skin’s surface may feel smoother, firmer, and tighter. Results in circumference and cellulite reduction are most apparent 5-7 days after each treatment. Remember this is a process; you will need to be patient with your body and allow time to reveal your new shape.
Q: How long can I maintain results?
Body Sculpting treatments should be used as a tool to assist you in achieving your goals. Maintenance treatments are recommended periodically following the complete treatment regimen. Like all non-surgical techniques, results will last longer if you follow a balanced diet, exercise routine, vitamins and drink lots of water!
Q: Is the Treatment Safe?
Treatment is safe and effective for all skin types and body sizes as long as there are no underlining medical conditions. No long-term or short-term health effects have been reported.
Q: Does it hurt?
Most patients find Body Contouring to be comfortable, like a warm deep tissue massage. Body sculpting is designed to be accommodating for comfort and sensitivity levels. All treatments can be adjusted for the patient. It’s normal to experience some discomfort with vacuum therapy, however, there should be no pain involved. Some clients may also experience a warm sensation for a few hours post-treatment.
Q: How often do I need treatments?
Typically 6-12 treatments are recommended per area treated,. These treatments can be spaced 3-14 days apart depending on availability and finances. The client should be committed to a healthy lifestyle in between sessions to avoid undoing the work that was done during the treatment.
