At SculptMe Kelowna, your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. Body sculpting is generally safe, but certain medical conditions may make it unsuitable for some individuals. Please review the following list of contraindications before booking a session.
Who Should Avoid Body Sculpting Treatments:
Body sculpting treatments are not recommended for individuals with the following conditions or situations:
1. Pregnancy or breastfeeding
2. Cardiovascular Conditions: Including heart disease, pacemakers, or irregular heartbeat.
3. Liver or Kidney Disorders
4. Autoimmune Disorders: Such as lupus, multiple sclerosis, or rheumatoid arthritis.
5. Cancer: Both active cancer and recent treatment (within the past 12 months).
6. Severe Skin Conditions: Such as open wounds, infections, or severe eczema in the treatment area.
7. Blood Clotting Disorders: Including recent history of blood clots or conditions that affect clotting.
8. Diabetes: Especially if poorly managed or if there are complications such as neuropathy or poor wound healing.
9. Metal Implants or Medical Devices in the Treatment Area: Including pacemakers, defibrillators, or metallic joint replacements.
10. Epilepsy or Seizure Disorders
11. Recent Surgery: If the surgery was in the treatment area or within the past 6 months.
12. Other Health Concerns: If you have any other health condition that might be affected by body sculpting, please consult with a healthcare provider first.

Prior to your session, we require all clients to complete a health intake form and disclose any relevant medical history to ensure your treatment is both safe and effective.
