DERMAPLANING

Dermaplaning is a simple and safe effective way of exfoliating the epidermis and ridding the skin of fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) in which the esthetician uses a surgical scalpel to gently scrape off any dead skin cells on the surface. Removing epidermal skin allows products to penetrate more readily into the deeper layer of the skin. This treatment is great before any medical procedures such as laser treatments or deep chemical peels. Dermaplaning is most often used on patients with rough,dry skin,superficial hyper pigmentation, mild acne scarring or fine lines and wrinkles. This treatment results in a more refined, smooth "glowing" appearance.
